CONCUSSIONS
Concussions are considered an injury to the brain due to a large force that impacts the head which causes movement of the brain inside of the skull which can possibly lead to loss of consciousness, memory loss, and even death in some cases. In sports, it is highly encouraged that coaches be wary of this being that the possibility of an athlete suffering a concussion is always relevant. If one should occur, coaches should know the signs and symptoms of concussions so that they may be able to successfully test an afflicted athlete for signs of a possible concussion.
